Tenchi was one of my first anime and I still love it now! I’ve wanted to cosplay Ayeka for a long time and her Ojou-sama to Oyobi design has always been a favourite.. especially for summer cons, compared to her big stuffy kimonos.
The purple yukata is made from upholstery polycotton, with black, navy and red pieces made from cotton drill. The cincher closes with a zipper and the red tie fastens on top. The fingerless gloves & stockings are made from a lush navy shimmer lycra. The red gems are leftover resin from an old Sakura costume!
The wig is a Lily from Coscraft, straightened and styled with long wefts in Deep Purple. The headdress underneath is made from Thibra – it fastens underneath the wig with bobby pins and the top gems fit inside when the wig is worn.
